Red Cabbage pH Indicator
Red cabbage is named after the colour of its... purple leaves... This colour is due to a chemical known as anthocyanin. But did you know that this chemical changes colour when added to acids and bases?! Yep! It can turn pink, red, purple, blue, green and even yellow!
Add it to items from around the house, to find out which ones are acids and which ones are bases.
